Stocking Slider Enclosed Toe Wrap-Around

This product may help people who cannot bend and need to wear very strong elasticated stockings, such as TED Stockings, to help with their lymphoedema.

One-Piece Underwear with Leg-Zip *New Item

The One-Piece Underwear is normally used for patients who may try to remove their incontinence pad, either during the day or when in bed. The fabric is designed to help the skin breathe and reduce perspiration during hot weather. A long zip around the inside of the legs make it very easy to change incontinence pads, while the patient’s upper body is still covered.

There has also been some re-editied Video Demonstrations from old Pelican Demonstration Videos. Check them out: Wrist / Ankle Restraints Webbing / Wool Video Demonstrations and Car Emergency Slide Board Kit Video Demonstration.

Sacral Memory Foam Cushion

Some people may need reduced pressure on the coccyx area when sitting. These cushions are scooped out at the rear, so when sitting there will be less pressure on the coccyx. The sides of the cushion are sloped so that when they are used in a wheelchair, the cushion will sit flatter. The corner ties help hold the cushion in position if the patient shuffles on to or off a chair.

The cushions have Memory Foam on the top with firm resilient foam underneath. Spare covers are available in the Polyester and Waterproof material.

Three types of covers are available:

Polyester – 4 Way Stretch Cover
Waterproof – 4 Way Stretch Cover
Heat Sealed – 4 Way Stretch Cover

Cleaning: As the cover cannot be removed for hand or machine washing, spray and wipe clean with disinfectant. Seek advice from your Infection Control department as they may over ride our cleaning instructions.

E.R.C.P Wedge

Product Under Development:

E.R.C.P. POSITIONING WEDGE & STRAPS
(Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio Pancreatography)

The E.R.C.P. wedge and strap are designed to help position patients in the supine position with one side of their body raised slightly. The wedge has two long straps that should be wrapped across the patient’s back, around and under the table and then secured in the lever buckles which will hold the wedge in position.

The firm wedge has a heat sealed Vinyl cover to help with preventing cross infection. The lever lock buckles are attached with loops that are big enough to put a cloth inside to clean around the buckles.

The Vinyl material is made up of a fine mesh covered in a plastic. This mesh will stop the material stretching but the material will not fray so it can be left in place.

CLEANING: Wipe clean with disinfectant and wipe dry after cleaning. Have guidance from your facility’s Infection Control department as they may over-ride our recommendations.
